Hummingbird Sound and Energy Healing Studio was founded with a simple goal, create a safe space where people can find mindfulness in caring for themselves. Engaging with energetic and physical ways to connect with self. The studio facilitates in relieving stress and anxiety, incorporate mindful practices into their daily life, and simply takes a break form the daily demands experienced in their daily life. I encourage myself daily to life by a philosophy of “IKIGAI“, the Japanese art of being. Allowing myself to find all the wonderful reasons to get up in the morning, and just exist.

I started my holistic journey when I first received my diploma of Remedial Therapy from the Australian College of Natural Therapy, in Sydney, Australia. I went on to extend my learning with core studies covering western herbal medicine and nutrition.

I earned my B.A. in Writing and Screen Media Communications and M.A. in Applied Linguistics at the University of New England, Australia; I followed the path of applied linguistics for my love of languages and discourse, and because I felt it would offer me clearer insights in understanding and utilizing the way we use language; how our emotions speak through us.

I am a certified Reiki Master Teacher following the Usui Reiki lineage tradition. I also hold a certificate I in integral sound healing. I am a certified yoga instructor, obtaining my Vinyasa Yoga Training through the University of Washington, and a certified Yoga Nidra instructor. I practice hands-on reiki, distance reiki, sound chakra healing, mindful mediation class, vinyasa yoga, restorative yoga, sound baths, and Reiki I, Reiki II, Reiki III.

Working with me, you learn from my personalized yoga sessions, reiki, sound baths, and integral sound healing, tailored specifically for you to restore your body and soul, and connect you with feel better within yourself.

My Approach

My approach is to look at the various modalities we can use together to bring support to body and mind. It all begins with open communication in addressing your needs, and what you hope to achieve. With the understanding that not one form of holistic healing works for everyone, clients are introduced to breathing exercises, journaling, affirmations, asana, and additional tools they can use in their daily life.
